Bruce L. Maltz, M.D.
Dr. Maltz received his medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He completed his internship at The New York Hospital-Cornell Associated Hospitals and became Chief Resident at the Department of Dermatology, University of California at San Francisco. He is Board Certified and has served as Medical Director and President of Allura Skin and Laser Center for more than 20 years. Dr. Maltz has a special interest in cosmetic dermatology and is a member of the National Education Faculty for Botox Cosmetic and the Advisory Council for Radiesse. He enjoys playing golf and spending time with his four daughters.

Carie T. Chui, M.D.
Dr Chui received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed her dermatology residency at Stanford University. Subsequently she completed a fellowship in laser surgery, cosmetic surgery, Mohs Micrographic surgery and reconstruction at the Department of Dermatology, University of California at San Francisco. She has served as clinical instructor at both Stanford and UCSF, teaching residents and fellows Mohs and dermatologic surgery. She is board certified in dermatology and has been in practice for over 9 years at Allura Skin & Laser Center. In addition to her busy practice she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Annie Workman Coots, P.A.
Annie Workman Coots is a Physician Assistant who specializes in laser skin treatments. She has been with Allura Skin and Laser Center since 2005. Annie attended the University of Oklahoma Physician Associate Program, earning a Master of Health Sciences degree in late 2000. She lives in Alameda with her husband, and in her spare time, she enjoys traveling, camping and volunteering.

Elena Nimon, P.A.
Ms. Nimon received her training from the Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Program at the University of California at Davis. She has been practicing as a Physician Assistant as a certified physician assistant in dermatology for the past seven years. Prior to her training as a Physician Assistant, Elena was a practicing physician in Russia. She is experienced in treating patients with various skin problems, skin cancers and in performing laser treatments.

Carmen Ng, LE
Carmen is a licensed esthetician with eight years of experience working in both the
medical and day spa environments. She maintains the most advanced skincare knowledge and techniques by attending continuing education, training and conferences throughout the year provided by the Dermal Skin Institute, Dr. Hauschka, La Roche-Posay, Skin Medica, Obagi, PCA and Colorescience, etc. Carmen’s passion in skincare is to help patients enhance and improve the quality of their skin by educating and providing an individualized treatment plan to target the needs of the skin. Her expertise in esthetics enables her to provide superior quality service to her patients.

Cybele Pelcher, LE
Cybele attended the Christine Valmy School of Esthetics in New York City and received her esthetic license in 1992. She received an advanced education and certification in the Dr. Hauschka Method and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from the City University of New York. In 1998 she joined the Allura Skin and Laser Center, where she heads our esthetic department. Committed to complementary and alternative healthcare, Cybele received a certificate in Holistic Health from San Francisco State University and was also certified by the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley. Currently, Cybele is studying to become a registered nurse. When she is not studying, she spends her spare time doing yoga and baking muffins.
